With so much to see and do in London and the school holidays fast approaching, there has never been a better time to take advantage of the Family Travelcard.

The Family Travelcard provides unlimited journeys throughout the day, as well as saving each adult 20% on the price of a normal adult One Day Travelcard, plus each child travels for a flat fare of only 50 pence each.

As well as being good value for money, the Family Travelcard is flexible enough to accommodate different size groups - from as little as one adult and one child to as many as two adults and four children - and the groups do not have to be related, so a school trip or a group of friends can also qualify for a great day out and use the Family Travelcard.

Since its launch last Spring, the Family Travelcard has already become one of the most popular ways for families travelling around the sites of London. Over two million families have benefited from this convenient way of making trips around London.

With an average of 100,000 tickets sold every week since its launch - highlighting the success of London Transport’s initiative of "designer" tickets aimed at specific types of passengers - families can get good value for money as well as keep the kids entertained for the day.
