Several train companies will be running trains services on Boxing Day this year;
and Gatwick Express and Heathrow Express will be operational on Christmas
Day.

An ATOC spokesman comments: "We advise travellers to check with National
Rail Enquiries (NRES) on 0345 48 49 50 before travelling by rail. Customers
may find it helpful to call NRES at times of low demand which are from
11.30am to 3.30pm on weekdays and in the afternoons on weekends.

"We are a public service and are pleased to see the efforts train operators are
making to provide high levels of service over the holiday period."
