Train companies join dome promotion weekend

Britain's passenger train companies will be playing an important part in a special Bank Holiday weekend promotion at the Millennium Dome.

For visits on the 26, 27 and 28 August, entrance tickets to the Dome will cost just £10 per person and are now on sale from railway station ticket offices and rail telesales centres across Britain.

ATOC Director, Paul Smith, said:

"The Dome is still the premier tourist attraction in this country and promotions like this will be very popular. I urge people intending to take up this offer and living outside London to buy their tickets as far ahead as possible to take advantage of the many cheap fares the train companies offer and avoid any ticket queues at the Dome. With just under five months left, we hope as many people as possible take advantage of this promotion and the easiest and most hassle free way to do so is travelling by train."
