Anglia Railways
Revised timetable information until further notice.
These speed restrictions will remain in force until further notice. As a result, Anglia Railways' mainline train services between Norwich and London will be subject to extended journey times of 30 minutes, and some cancellations will also apply.
Anglia Railways main line services: - Monday to Friday
0724, 1040, 1140, 1240 and 1540 Norwich to London all cancelled
0550 Bury St Edmunds will terminate at Ipswich
2005 Norwich to London will terminate at Ipswich
0900, 1100, 1200, 1300, 1400, 1500, 1827 and 1842 London to Norwich all cancelled
1627 London to Lowestoft will start from Ipswich at 1752.
0505 Norwich to London will start at 0500
0520 Norwich to London will start at 0510
0530 Norwich to London will start at 0525
A full emergency timetable is currently being planned and should be published later this week and some revisions will be anticipated wc 30 October 2000.
Anglia Railways mainline services - Saturdays and Sundays
The alterations shown below are advanced information only and are still to be confirmed with Railtrack. Any alterations required will be made towards the end of the week.
Saturdays Only - Extended journey times of 30 mins
9.30, 1200, 1300, 1400, 1500 and 1600 on hour services London to Norwich - all cancelled
1040, 1140, 1240, 1340, 1440, 15.40 and 17.35 Norwich to London - all cancelled
0730 London to Norwich will start 0800
0855 London to Norwich will start 0830
1727 London to Norwich will start 1600
Sundays
Normal service with extended journey times of 30 minutes
Information concerning Anglia Railways' London Crosslink services
From Monday 23rd October the London Crosslink service will resume operation. Unfortunately the service will be limited to the following trains.
Customers travelling between the South West and East Anglia unable to use these services should travel via London Waterloo and London Liverpool St.
Ipswich departure: 04:15
Stratford departure: 05:46, 11:18#
Basingstoke arrival: 07:31, 13:28
# The 09:00 from Norwich will call additionally at Stratford to connect.
Basingstoke departure: 08:26, 13:42
Stratford arrival: 10:29, 15:34
Catering facilities will be available.
The services shown are Monday - Friday times, which will operate until 6th November.
Saturday and Sunday services are to be confirmed.
Information concerning Anglia Railways' local train services:
All Anglia Railways’ local train services between Norwich and Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and Sheringham, and between Ipswich and Cambridge/Peterborough, Felixstowe and Lowestoft are expected to operate as per the normal published timetable.
Anglia Railways apologises to passengers for the inconvenience caused by the current delays and train service cancellations. Every effort will be made to minimise the extent of the delays.
