Anglia Railways has revealed a new livery and branding for their recently acquired additional Class 170 train (170399), which is dedicated to operating London Crosslink services between Norwich and Basingstoke.
In addition to being outshopped from Anglia's Crown Point depot in the attractive green Anglia livery, 170399 has become the first train in Anglia's fleet to be specifically route-branded. The train is now branded "Let yourself go - London Crosslink" which is consistent with the branding used by Anglia Railways to promote the innovative and award winning London Crosslink service.
Commenting on the new branding, Liz Mullen, Anglia Railways' sales and marketing director said:
"Providing a route specific identity for our latest Class 170 train will help to raise the profile and awareness of our exciting London Crosslink service. Crosslink is increasingly reaching new markets from commuting to leisure and business travel across all generations.
"The branding complements the on-going marketing activity for Crosslink, encouraging more people to travel across the capital without the need to change trains or stations."
