Midland Mainline

No smoking

  date 11 February 2003
  source Midland Mainline
  type Press release

From 20 January 2003, all Midland Mainline services became no smoking.

This comes about as a result of customer demand and coincides with Midland Mainline’s extensive internal and external refurbishment programme of all its High Speed Trains.

This policy is in line with the majority of train companies, airlines and coach operators in the UK.

The policy will help to improve the environment for Midland Mainline customers travelling on High Speed Trains.
