Network Rail is holding a public exhibition in March Town Hall to unveil the plans for its regional engineering distribution centre at Whitemoor, March. Peter Heubeck, Project Director, Network Rail said: “The planning application for the old marshalling yard is at a very exciting stage, where we get to hear the public’s views on our proposal.”
The three-day event is an opportunity to see the most up-to-date plans, first hand. Members of the project team will also be available to answer any questions about the proposed site at present and in the future.
The exhibition will be open on the following dates and times: · Thursday 10 April 10.00 - 21.00 · Friday 11 April 10.00 – 19.00 · Saturday 12 April 09.00 – 13.00
Network Rail will continue to work with the Fenland District Council and Cambridgeshire County Council joint planning team in order to submit the planning application in early summer. Network Rail takes its responsibility as a neighbour very seriously and will continue to liaise with the local community and stakeholders groups as part of its public consultation.
