Network Rail is dotting the I’s and crossing the t’s on its planning application for the development of the old marshalling yard at March.

Peter Heubeck, Project Director said: “We are in the final stages of the planning application submission. The environmental survey has been completed, public consultation documentation has been collated and the site plan finalised. It is exciting to be so close to handing the document over to Cambridgeshire County Council.”

Network Rail’s planning submission for an engineering distribution centre will be submitted to Cambridgeshire County Council who will be considering the application. A summary of the document will be available on the council’s website in due course.
