The Association of Train Operating Companies (ATOC) today welcomed the appointment of Chris Bolt as the Chairman of the Board at the new Office of Rail Regulation.

George Muir, Director General of ATOC, said: "This appointment is very welcome. I remember the good sense Chris showed when he was acting Regulator. We look forward to working with him."
