A National Rail contract which replaced the last Chiltern Railways franchise and the following Emergency Measures Agreement in March 2020 and the Emergency Measures Recovery Agreement in September 2020.
The contract was due to run until 12 December 2027, with a core expiry date of 1 April 2025.
The government confirmed on 4 December 2024 that it expected to terminate this contract after April 2025, when it would return to public ownership. The operator was given notice on 10 March 2026 that the contract would end on 20 September 2026.

Commuter and regional services between London (Marylebone) and Aylesbury, Princes Risborough, Banbury, Oxford via Bicester Village, Birmingham (Moor Street and Snow Hill), Kidderminster, Stourbridge Junction and Stratford-upon-Avon. Chiltern Railways was chosen to run services on East West Rail between Oxford, Bicester Village, Bletchley and Milton Keynes Central, which should have begun in 2025 but did not do so. The start date remains uncertain.
