Passenger kilometres since 1962
The totals had been increasing for some time until they were affected by the Covid pandemic. The passenger totals had been rising, but increases in passenger kilometres also implied that individual journeys were getting longer.
Passenger kilometres still include an element of estimation, in an attempt to include travel on season tickets, rover tickets and regional travelcards. | |
